Training supplements
Depending on the students’ prior academic background at the time of admission, it may be necessary to address significant gaps by taking some of the courses from the Faculty’s official Master’s degree programs:
- Master’s Degree in Biostatistics:
- Applied Mixed Models
- Bayesian Statistics
- Survival Analysis
- Master’s Degree in Data Science and Business Intelligence:
- Data Warehouse Management and Exploitation
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Decision Models in Marketing
- Global Risk Management. Scoring
- Machine Learning Techniques
- Research in Data Science

These bridging courses will be taken during the first year and will be considered part of the doctoral program, so the student will be regarded as a doctoral student while taking them. Students coming from the Faculty’s official Master’s degree programs will not need to take additional training. The maximum workload for these bridging courses will be 18 ECTS credits.
